Mount Brew, named in 1859 after Chartres Brew not because it’s a critical beer-making area in the region, is 12 km south of Lillooet along highway 99. It is the third-highest mountain of the Lillooet range and reaches nearly 3 km.

While the upper ridge hints at an ‘easy’ westerly approach, the most logical route these days is via the northeast ridge. That’s the 45′ slope seen as the left flank of the peak in this shot.
